This was a renovation project done only to enhance the space not to dismantle the existing structure and its identity. The main intention was to craft and revive the open space in front of the gallery through minimal interventions. All the trees are preserved as they are. A layer of steel columns was installed to create an overheaded “MACHA”. The solid walls and the large operable glass façade of the café are merged with the open space to encourage playful interaction between the users and nature.
